Now I am Finding the Time...

Hey peeps,
Ahhhh...it feels so good to be able to find time to write again. Actually I am still in office and finished my works. And somehow I felt the strong urge to write. Err..le patron, puis-je réclamer des heures supplémentaires ?

And as usual, I have no concrete plan for my writing. It's all jumbled up. Let me think....
1)Moving out and into a new condo...AGAIN!
Oh yes, this is my 4th move since the beginning of my relationship with Superman. My current owner sold his house and gave us ONE month notice to move out. We searched high and low for THE PLACE, and we found it after diligent day and night googling and asking around. Actually this place, called Aman Height, we have already viewed it before we moved into current home. But somehow, we didn't like it last time. God knows what makes us gugugaga this time around. Guess because of the superb facilities with OK price! We got our keys last night and suppose to start packing up tonight. Erkk! Just a gist of what's waiting us;

2)Jalan-jalan Non-Stop
Almost every week, I since March, I was on the road. Be it on personal or work purpose. It was a nice getaway, especially when I can claim every dime spent, but when I get back into the office, the pressure is somewhat the same or more. Enjoy my travel pics and lil explanation I :)

Vietnam War Museum-Some souls are too devil to be called human.
Look what they did to these innocent men.
Vietnam, Mekong River-with my travel buddies
On board Sapura 3000 vessel- I hate the way I look! So gemuk and senget.
Singapore, Universal Studios-Where I felt magical and spend till drop

There's few more pictures but I don't have the time to upload now.

3) I never lose a pound and kept adding
Surprised? Not? Yeah me too! Everything doesn't fit properly now. I am already obese. Clap clap clap clap! It's depressing but I guess my desire to eat surpass the desire to get thin.See that face at Universal Studios? Compare it with this 2008 pic.
 Can you still recognize me???

Ahh...talk to you again in next entry. For now, new tasks landed in my inbox. Toodle doo!

Shopaholic Ain't Changing Yeah!

It's a lovely Saturday morning. I have acquired myself a new COACH bag without leaving the home and my pyjama. All thanks to Yashma!(oi..aku hampir makan megi oiii!). I decided not to visit her page anymore until my no-shopping mode is intact. Oh my god! Next month the sale will be much more crazier due to Christmas. Its time for skincare and makeup shopping. This is the time where all those special pallettes comes in. And..my stock's finishing. Good enough reason to splurge NECESSARILY!

Superman's watching his favourite movie-P.Ramlee's "Di Belakang Tabir". I kindof like this movie. The era is very cool. That's when the retro elements made the appearance. And man...they have A&W with dance floor! Superman's an avid fan of P.Ramlee, whereas  I had never watch any of his movies from start to end. Does this make me a bad Malaysian? Ha ha.

I am scratching my head on how to save more for the March trip. Girls only 1-week-adventure at a very foreign land. It's suppose to be an inexpensive trip. But being the Shopaholic I am, I need to have the extras. You know, just in case :) Since Superman's not joining, I am just scared to ask him to pitch in a little bit. Seems unfair too..But........darling..ehhehehe!:) Love you no matter what. Really:)

The sun's rising but I haven't stared the laundry. Gotta go y'all!

Housewife Mode : ON!

What's Next in Life...

Reflecting on my last entry...

I am not pregnant. Got the answer on the same day as Mr Red Flag gave me a visit. What did I feel? Relieved? Yeah. Happy? Not. I am not quite sure. And since then Superman has this weird dopey grin when he saw babies, babies pictures, babies this and babies that. Oh baby baby baby baby.......I wonder whether a pair of big round eyes, looking at us and crying out loud to have her milk sucked from my suddenly augmented breast will be everything in this sacred union of our hearts?

Happy to hear dear Diana is becoming the Mak Long of BVians as what was quoted by Yash in her blog. And last week, Norzie, my university friend found out she's 4 months pregnant too. And also few others, which I couldn't recall who got knocked up first. Seems like everybody is getting knocked up! Hey you knocked up readers, congratulations! Take care and do let me know when your lil tots arrived in this world ya!

And yes, I feel weird. I'm half way towards our anniversary. But I am still in awe of wedding dresses. Don't you think its weird too? When will I ever get over with this wedding obsession??!

On recent Friday, I accompanied Superman to Kuching for his work trip. Well , besides pitying him, bored to death in between flights and meetings, I jumped to every opportunity to see the world! FOC! Who doesn't want that?Lol! With careful planning at work, I sent out my leave application form, hoping my very best that it will get approved. At the end of Thursday, I was running here and there, making sure all tasks was completely done before I went jet setting. Unfortunately, there was still some left, which I had to ask my colleague to continue only after my lovely boss whisked me away, afraid that I was not able to catch my flight. Love you Boss! It feels like a second 'unplanned' honeymoon. Quite a spontaneous trip since we only relied to our trusted GPS tor  tell us where the tourist attraction in Kuching. Tell you what, don't trust your GPS completely as we ended up visiting a jogger path in front of a school and swimming pool next to PTPTL college! We had a major laugh when we arrived at these so called tourist attractions. After hours of  false destinations, we went to one of the shopping mall, sipping Coffee Bean ice blended. Superman finally searched through WiFi internet, and that was when we found some real touristy places. Cut it short, we became the last visitor at Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Another false info, of which we were told it closes at 5pm, whereas we were politely whisked away by the officer at 4pm. Well, it was almost dark. Its a jungle out there. Real natural habitat where the orang utans was not caged, wildly bred, and we humans are the intruder. It was cool that we managed to snapped few pictures and some insightful briefing from the ranger. I went there when I was in secondary and it was not much different. But now they put up some noticeboard to caution people of the dos and don'ts at the area. There was also images of orang utans attacks which scares me good!

Eh no, not trying to scare you or making you to think that they are monsters. No they are not. A real wild orang utan, are quite shy and they are hard to be seen. They are almost impossible to find nearby the viewing and feeding areas. However, those that had the history of being kept in captivity or getting human touch are the ones which we should watch out. Although they are used to us, but they still have unexpected behavior. In a funny note, they were named like human such as 'Delima' and 'Annuar'!

I want to upload some pics for you to see but my laptop suddenly couldn't read my memory card. Until then, smile always! Please smile back when someone smiles at you. You just make life so much better. So smile!:)

ABC of Travelling

Quite happy!
Ok..this is coming from me...who has not been travelling overseas since my university days. And back then it was so easy since I only need a passport, my destination has always been Thailand and I didn't have the debit/credit card thingy. No money no talk no jalan2. Easy as that. Well life became more complicated when you get older. heheheh. Listed below, are the things that I learned from my Jakarta-Bandung Trip. Thank God I was with my Bro and his Indonesian friend, Adri.

The ever gila2 Adri and my Bro

Crucial 101 of overseas traveling for dummies/newbies :
1)Pack at least the night before you fly. So that, if you found sth missing, you still have time to get it done in the morning before your flight. Well..only if your flight's at noon or later. Morning flight??Pack TWO days before..then you'll have one 'emergency' day.

2)Activate your Debit/Credit card for overseas transaction. And have as much cash as you can, reasonable enough to pay the taxis, foods, small shoppings during your stay. Also, depending on the location. Well-developed countries accepts payments through cards even in sundry stores. But not for others.Everytime you draw out cash from ATM you'll be charged RM12. Don't waste your money for nothing.

3)Check your passport validities and Visa application(if needed). I don't know about other countries. But all I know is, Malaysian government only allow its passport holders to travel overseas ONLY IF the VALIDITY OF PASSPORT IS NO LESS THAN THE DATE OF EXPIRY. Full stop.

4)Make a list of target places to visit/shop or stuffs you need to get by day.
So that, it won't divert your attention away. Its saves everything from money, energy and time.

5)Research your destination. Tourists usually depends on informations on the net, previous visitors reviews or pamphletes provided by the country of visit. However, it is also good for you to get extra informations, local digs through hotels concierge or people on the street(i.e cafes, your spa masseurs, local friends you found online). Don't be afraid to ask, but be cautious to follow. After all, its the whole point of travelling, getting to know the place.Aite?

6)Dress accordingly. You want to bargain at small shops or flea market, but you are wearing an original Hermes bag and Ralph Lauren shirts with an obvious logo on it and you speak with posh accent?? Duh..are you insane???Go figure.

7)Wear comfy shoes. When you travel you are bound to walk alot. And sometimes at the worst road conditions. Forget dressy slippers with very thin straps and sole. What's more kick ass boots and heels! Best bet, Crocs or any rubber sandals, enough cushion, wide straps, airy and light. Your feet will thank you for it.

8)Get acclimated with local flavours. As I said, research research research! Not just the locations but also local norms. Like their way of dressing, food, drinks, business hours, public holidays, land transportation, etc. Its crucial so that you can make your decisions and plannings better. And no upset tummies!

9)Check the destination airport tax for foreigners. Usually it is not included with your ticket. Airport tax can be costly. So no matter how crazy you are with the shopping, reserve enough money for the tax!

I think that's all so far. I hope the pointers will be beneficial for you. Good luck to future travellers. Enjoy!

Tick Tock Tick Tock

I wonder why exactly i kept on having headache before i sleep. Yesterday was the worst. I tried hard to sleep but I couldn't. It was throbbing madly...and when finally I could sleep, I kept on waking after a while. Is this a symptom of brides to be?

Well, these couple of days, I was madly searching for this and that.

First of all. My wedding canopy colour. At first I wanted pink+white. But then I decided not to coz my neighbour who just got married on previous weekend had it for their canopy. Ergh..punah harapan! So i've got to decide for the new theme ASAP before my appointment this weekend to pay the deposit. What colour goes well for night wedding? I want it to look glam+enchanted+lively and so on(positive vibe). My big no no is on red, green, silver, orange, and gold hues. I need 2 colours combination. Help!

Things that I can finally tick off my list:

-makeup-madam hana
-florist+house deco-the wedding projects/mekar bunga deco
-nikah+receptions photographers-avicennastudio
-receptions videographers-avicennastudio
-pre-wedding photographer-ofilia(my x housemate now working at gua.com)
-nikah+bride side's reception dresses-dzull classique,kajang
-nikah veil-ampang point(tak ingat lak nama kedai)
-wedding shoes-stuartz weitzman, klcc
-canopy+pelamin-QAS tent & event sdn bhd, putrajaya
-wedding gown+veil for groom's side reception-nisa mazbar
(finally i'm announcing her as my dressmaker:))->she's Da Mak Minah Tepi Kedai Pak Ali:))

Heys people ask me not about their quality, as different people may view them differently. I still can't really judge them coz i haven't got to see the final outcome. My decisions for choosing them was purely based on their previous work samples and my INTUITION. So if you want to know how to get in contact with them, just go to their websites or buzz me..no problem:) Of all my vendors, I only knew Ofey and Nisa personally. They are siblings to my friends. Besides the nice price tag, its all about supporting my friends and trust. And one of The Wedding Projects team member, Ms Ninie, is also my friend that I knew from joining a political group, Once Upon A Time Not So Long Ago.heheh. They are really cool people. They might not be famous just yet. But I pray to dear Allah that the rezeki for them will be never ending and they will one day be super famous too. Hopefully, my wedding can be a nice booster for their future plannings. Insya Allah.

I am really excited and nervous to see the outcome. Berdebarnya! Hopefully they are worth every penny...Ergh...wedding is so expensive when u r so particular like me! I wish I can be a laid back bride.

Other matters are still pending decisions..lots of it. And they are all playing in my mind...jumping with no orderly fashion. Too much things to think.. Ergh..my head's screaming. Can i have another Redang trip now??

Announcement, people!
